BFUQ dynamic text?

I'm using build's bfuq font and when it was just static text it was fine... but I've turned all the text fields into dynamic text and now its squishing it vertically. Anybody have any solutions to this problem.

are you positive you didn't change the text box dimensions?
i would say erase your text box and create a new one. see if that clears it up.

I've done that several times... but to no avail. Its definitely just when i turn it into a dynamic text field. When I take the same field and turn it back into a static text field and it returns to looking normal.

did you embed the font? otherwise it will just convert back to a default font on text input and dynamic text

i think that issue is not just limited to bfuq.
it's been discussed many times here... search pvn for dynamic text..
or ask unfit!

it's definitely a tricky font to work with in flash. first make sure that the text box is on EXACT pixels. so like 1,1 not 1.2,1.3.
Also, i have had better results using Flash MX and having the anti-aliased box checked.
Its strange, sometimes if you just recreate the text box it will work. othertimes it wont. i'm not sure why this is.
