Doesn't work for me at all. I'd suggest you keep working your typography. You need to tighten things up (by tightening thing out I mean, scrap everything and get a fresh start). I really don't like the layout either. Work on you grid.
chop chop!

I think its crap full stop

That's why I'm here asking for you oppinions.. cuz I want to make it great..
I am also stuck with it and don't want to go to the printers with it yet.
kOne.. dude you got me all wrong.
I like your work.. and I think that you can help me out a little more than what you have said. I don't need you tell me that it's great if it isn't . I just need you to back up your comment so I know what you are coming from and what it is that you would change or totally get rid of.

By working on your grid I mean make a grid.

Thanks mr_snuggles.. The reason why I put orange as the main colour on the card is because with the previous old card ppl here on NT said not to go with blue just because it's in my name..

Not to be brutal, but Blueman, if you think you need that bad "constructive critisism", must show that you aren't sure of what you accomplished. Thus meaning that you might want to study and work a little bit more on your card before posting crit. demands. If you think that your card is awesome, well, just don't ask the opinions because everyone is different. If you like it keep it.

No worries, like oeuf said though, start with a simple grid and it'll just tighten up and anchor some of your content so you're placement of type has more sensibility and things won't look like they're "floating."
- JamesEngage0
for a start you have 6 different blocks of text and actually managed to make it look like you have used 7 different typefaces which must be a record.
don't use caps in web addresses.
space your web and email addresses better.. even label them better as they tend to float about a bit... and some people (mark my words) will get confused...that is probably an american number but I really don't know where you are based.
Why use caps in your web address but not in your own name?
Just little things that can make things look ragged.

Blueman,
if you post at least two drafts
with two totally different ideas
we can say what is the best card, and why.now we can only say we like/dislike the colorscheme and dito on the typefacecombination and layout.
okay?
- JamesEngage0
you don't so much need a grid as at least a margin... and then decide the order in which you want stuff
- JamesEngage0
PS I got a third in my first term doing graphics at college... and even I think it is raggedy :)

if you are going to go with orange definitely use a color other than black for the text...
very halloween
also, either align your logo right or left with the text on the bottom, id go left...
just use the colors to create the line below the logo, the black line looks a little harsh
maybe use a typeface from your logo for the copy, that sans feels a little out of place in relation to the logotype
the copy along geeking my eye a bit...if you want your web address bold then id put it where your phone # is...however you use your grid should help this out

Use a grid, because you eye doesn't seem great.
For example;
Shrink & align logo hard right".com" - line up with Y of photography
URL to line up with "b" of blueman.
And so on.
Loose the grey line seperating the orange and white...
Change the font, make it smaller and give it some finesse...

If you want a quick fix change the colour of your name and the details at the bottom from black to white and remove the grey line that seperates the yellow and white area, move the logo to the right so that where it ends matches with where the text at the bottom ends and finally try changing the yellow/orange (whatever it is) to the blue...PS, I would also half the size of the logo it's too big
PPS. I would also look at soome alternative fonts for the text at the bottom, the current one looks very typed out and not considered
- pascii0
play around with the typo, colors etc.
etc. etc.
- instantok0
"he copy along geeking my eye"
meaning the copy along the bottom and that there is no distinct hierarchy to read the information and my eye skips about
- Blueman0
ok good stuff..
The logo is where it is to mimick the website. I'll reduce it's size. and I'll work on the type and post something up.
