I want to import Ill 10 layers into PS 7. is this possible?
I tried .ai and .eps, but they merged all the layers.Please help.

Well go to menu:
file - export - choose psd as the format - thats it
you still have some sttings u can do, like choose the resolution and the edit text

ooh, christ the fun we used to have in photoshop, or photoshoppy as us crazy cats called it, my mate ian villiers used a SORG-78 package to rip it, right and change the fucking thing, when you loaded it up right, it said photoshoppy on the screen, that used to crack up. he done the same to illustrator, called the bloody thing L-illystrator, lilly as in lily of the valley, hahaha!! hahaha, that was a while back. daft eh? has anybody sorted the panton-aaaaaaay debate yet?

copy indivisual layer?
can't I just export or copy at once and I still have each layers?BTW, I tried exporting from Ill to PS, but still layers were merged.
any other solution?

Illustrator can export to a layered PSD, but results can be iffy (and it got worse with CS). It seems if you have any effects or transparency applied to any object on any of the layers in Illustrator, it'll flatten the entire thing on Export. If you remove all that stuff and try again you MIGHT get it to export to a layered PSD. It usually takes me a few trial and error attempts until it works and then I have to recreate the effects in Photoshop...drives me nuts...I swear it worked better with Ill 9

yeah what you are trying to do is bass akwards...
stay in illustrator. unless you need a mean ass bevel.
