back then the walkmen were in a band called the ignobles which after high school reformed as the Jonather Fire Eater then you know the rest. The French Kicks were in this soul band call Swollen Colon with Walter (walkmen) on the drums. Both band have been doing really good music forever. There were alot of good stuff happenin musicwise in DC back then
