Hmmmmmm, well I know one thing. Since 1918, they have had nothing. The Yanks constantly beat the BoSox, so it's a damn step in the right direction. :)

Did you pay attention to the color of the blood over the course of the two hours or so he was on the mound? Never changed.
If he was leaking, it would be dark brown, almost blackish-brownish-red.
I'm not saying it's an excuse or anything. I actually think it's clever if that's how Francona spinned it. Francona totally would do something like that...

sorry i'm out of the loop in this thread, but i just wanted to say something. last night they had on the news how boston hats were flying off the shelves here in chicago and that just pisses me off.
i've had only these three hats my entire life.
the cubs.
the boston red sox.
the st. louis cardinals.
and the milwaukee brewers. (i don't know why)now i can't wear any of them anymore around here. and that is bullshit.
