Anyone ever use it?
I have a client who wants me to set up a small online bill pay thingy and seems that the programmers made the thing harder than it needs to be to set it up.
Anyone have any helpful hints or anything on it?
Thanks in advance.

i've used it with a few clients. What have they done to make it so hard to use?

dude. it's usability is horrible. i'm not sure what i was thinking it was going to be like but it's way more difficult than i thought.
i'm going to have at it tonight and this weekend. i may send you a shout or two asking for some help if needed.
to top off a.n. being difficult to set up, the client has really given me nothing but 'set it up to take money' approach. so i'm shooting in the dark.
maybe i'm just dumb. :(

Authorize.net IS the online credit card processing gateway that you want. Anyone that says otherwise just doesn't know how to code.
Basically you will need a UNIX/Linux server with PHP and cURL installed. The way it works is that you need to write code that when a person submits a credit card purchase, your server posts that data securely via cURL to authorize.net's servers, then receives a response code saying if it was accepted or the reason why it was rejected. If you need further assistance email me

I know that much, but they keep telling me things I already know and they can't look at my code and figure out what is going wrong. They look at it but don't 'see' anything wrong with it, yet it doesn't work.
Unreal.
Oh, and just so you know. I can't really code my way out of a wet paper sack when it comes to shtuff like this.
I'm going out of my mind.

I use ASP with Authorize.net.
I bought storefront software though. It made everything really easy and didn't cost too much. Plus, I can reuse the code and tweak it to my needs. If you're not a good programmer maybe you can buy some pre-built shits.
