Thanks moth & rabattski, appreciate ye looking into it. I emailed webnic.cc and they sent me a form to fill out on e-cybergolds website which doesnt exist. So hopefully they will sort it out and see the light of the error.

Did you deal with a human or was it automated?
You've got to pester these people...

Oh - if they fuck you about, say you're not allowed etc... go to ICANN.
http://www.icann.org/registrars/…They can help you kick ass...

it was a human.. I'll never forget the guys name; Gay Lung, from Malaysia.
- toe-knee0

I feel for you man.
However, you chose a company with a name like 'e-cybergold' so I can't feel that sorry for you.

LOL
I tell clients this every day... They go and register this shit with the first company they find, and then wonder why we can't launch their sites on time.

FINALLY
Dear Tony,
The current status for soulshine.org is protected (No shit!), this was the reason why you could not change the dns settings.
Please send us an email to request unlock of the domain status. Please note that your request email must send from registrant email contact which is . After we receive of your email, we will liaise with our reseller to unlock your domain status. If our reseller did not respond to us, we will assist you from there.
Looking forward for your request email.
Thank you.
Warm regards,

hey tony! cool that it's resolved.
on another note, since people are mentioning isp's here regarding this issue. you can independently from any isp register and control your own domains whenever you want to.
e.g. by using networksolutions.com or other trusted companies. although you have to pay the bill yourself for registering. it's a bit more expensive but you'll never run into such problems and you can switch ns servers any given time.
- ********0
True that.
Although networksolutions are bunch of fucking SolCol ditzy blonds... Don't ever expect decent support from them. When it works, it's great though.I recently moved most of our company domains to 1&1. Give's us full DNS control, control over registrant details, NS details, the lot. Save's a lot money from our old supplier who was taking £80pa for each domain.
- rabattski0
true about networksolutions. but there are plenty of others around as the one you mentioned. you just have to make sure it's a trusted company.
what? 80? wow. that's quite expensive.
- ********0
Yep. They also wanted £10pm for domain management. We ceased paying them months ago, hence the need to move all these domains.
Company was part of Clara.net. Don't touch them!
