There has to be a procedure for this... maybe internic.com?

not to make light of this really shitty situation. but I like the internet justice idea. You should pitch that idea to a network. It'll fly, it'll air right after wife swap on abc.

switch host. let them take care of it. at least they should have more knowledge regarding this issue and how it can be resolved. it sort of happened to me as well, i don't know what my host exactly did, but they did change the ns entries to theirs without having my previous host login data.

better still...use GoDaddy or something to register your domains...dont leave it up to your webhost.

What's the domain name?
I can do a little detective work on it... I've spent the last month transfering .org and .com and .co.uk's to new hosts, from host's with similar problems.
- toe-knee0
hey moth.. the domain is soulshine.org

yeah but everything is on your name. just go to a new host and let them sort it out.

Ok. It's registered to you, and it's got your email as the Registrant & Tech Email.
The Registrar (company 'holding' the domain is www.webnic.cc. You should be able contact them direct and get them to change the namesevers, or instigate a transfer.
If you instigate a transfer from another host, you'll need a Auth Code. Again, webnic.cc should provide you with this.
You just have to convince them you are who you say you are.

I asked the new host and they said they cant do it. It all points to these guys Web Commerce Communications Limited dba WebNic.cc
But they tell me that I have to get e-cybergold to change it... even though e-cybergold seem to no longer exist...?

1and1.co.uk (or .com) will let open a account WITH a domain transfer.
They (or anyone else) can sort the transfer - but you will need that Auth Code for a .org domain.
