I was like oh this should be the optimum resolution but working can be pain in the ass in flash or ps like mentioned.

1600x1200 or nothing. Apps like PS or Flash just get to cluttered otherwise.

yes driftlab, I have hanged out with 1024X768 on a 17inch at work and 19 inch at home for two weeks for a project. I can say it is a different experience, and 120 hertz is nice as well.
