I agree that you should tighten it up or something. With the white background I think it looks like my eye continues past all the content onto the blank right side of the page. Maybe a simple grey darker over there might look nice.

maybe it is just me, but I think the #336699 colored cell should span 100% across the page, and maybe some sort of different separation between articles, subscribe and gear, it all seems to blend together for me. Nice work though.

The client was worried about losing the 800x600 users, but we've been trying to persuade them that it's not an issue anymore. We can try a darker bg to confine the content better, but i wonder if it'll dirty the simplicity and mince feelings about the cleanliness of food. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll play with it.-----

Separators may be a good idea. I don't want the grid to be lost (along with readibility). I'll give that a try. Thanks, man!
