jesus, I'm really sorry it took me so long to read this thread-- I'm very sad to hear about iggy. They sure leave a big hole in your life.

yup. had dogs my whole life. never a cat. really i didn't know many people who had one so this is all new to me. so sorry if i sound like an idiot when i talk about him.

haha, cool. i can't wait to get home and play with him. out of all the toys i bought for him a damn shoe string is his favorite. go figure.
i guess it's like having kids, you buy a baby an expensive gift and he plays with the wrapping.

o'yeah that's another thing you should know as a 1st time cat owner. Cats throw up. They just do. And you'll find some of it with your bare feet.

aaaahaha! yeah i do. no work done. i eat six meals a day so i tend to brush my teeth at least 4 times a day... or more. my dentist freaked out the last time i was in. he's like 'what ever your doing keep doing it, i haven't seen you in 3 years and your teeth are cleaner than people i see every 4 months.' haha. they're kinda white. looks really weird in the summer when i'm all tan. :)

I'll make fun of Christopher Reeve, but not Iggy. RIP... My mom is big cat lover so there were always cats around the house. In '91 we got 3 new kittens and my favorite one I named Tyson. My mom just put him to sleep 5 months ago. He had a cancerous growth in his neck. I was sad for months. Every now and then you get that pet that just has the best personality. He was my favorite pet out of 3 dogs, 6 cats, 3 salamanders, 1 tree frog, 1 snake, 19 scorpions and countless toilet-swimming fish.

It's great to hear about your new friend Iggy. It sounds like you got the right little guy. He looks like a cool fella too.
It's also great to hear that you found him at a shelter. That's the best.
My girlfriend and I just returned from a weekend at the cottage. We took Lou up north to get away from the house for a little while. It was relaxing and a needed distraction. We were sad returning to the house today. I can still see Ig hanging out in his favorite spots. I'll miss him alot... but I know that he's having fun wherever he is.
I can testify to the puking thing. Ig used to puke daily. Lou never pukes. Maybe you'll be lucky with the new Iggy.
Hahaaaaa. No kidding about the string fixation. We've bought lots of cat toys over the years. As far as the cats are concerned the favorites are usually elastics, string and shoelaces.
Enjoy your time with Iggy. You're both lucky to have crossed paths.
