Slinky Jr., one of my cat's lost his brother Piggy 5 years ago by a hit-&-run driver. i know how you feel very sad.
Piggy & Iggy sittin in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. They are both up there with an eternity of catnip at their paws.

i am sorry to hear about your friend iggy. we just lost our friend whiskey not to long ago, he was our dog. i am sure whisky and iggy are friends now! think happy thoughts.

i'm really sorry to hear about iggy... he looks sort of like my cat trinity (with less white but more black). today's my friend's birthday -- one lost life is remembered while celebrating and reminding us of another's birth. i'll give him a huge hug tonight.

Well... true to my word I now have a cat.
I went Thursday night cause I couldn't wait any longer. A friend talked me into going to a shelter first instead of a pet store.
I had every intention of buying a kitten and naming it Iggy but things changed when I got there. As I walked in with the lovely Susan who worked there I was walking down the hall with cages on either side eye high. As I'm looking to the right I feel this 'thump' on my left shoulder. I look over and this little orange cat is hanging his paw out and took a swipe at me as I passed. De-clawed it just patted my shoulder.
So I keep looking and out of the corner of my eye I keep seeing this paw stick out from the cage. No other cat was so outgoing. Susan said 'that's odd, he's never done that before... he's really quiet.' So I walk over and there the little bugger is. By her guess he's a year and a half old, de-clawed at birth and fixed with no name. He was on the list for you know what.
So I asked to see him out and he was the friendliest little thing ever. So playfull. That was it. Sold. For $50 bucks no less. I must have made an impression with Susan after I told her the story. She then told me to go to the Petland by my house and ask for Amy. So I did. Amy was quick to set me up with all the fixings and a nametag.... Iggy. So as I'm checking out in a damn hurry cause Iggy was going nuts in the car meowing his head off what I was guessing was going to be another 50 bucks worth of stuff... ie, food, litter, box, toys blah blah the total comes to $7.94. Wha?!? Nice. So I's runs back out to the car and toss the stuff in.
A few days later he's at home in his new place and it's the best money I've ever spent. He sleeps either on my chest or at the foot of the bed and sits with me on the couch. He's the best.
So... without further adeu'... Iggy.

Oh, and the $7.94 thing was because she gave me all these discounts and didn't actually ring half the stuff up. Nice. I didn't want to tell her I had a gf and ruin it nah mean. hahaha.

ah gee wiz. thanks guys.
yeah. he does some of the craziest shit i've seen. he'll get a string wrapped around his tail and chase it round and round until he gets tired or too dizzy to do it anymore. then he looks up at me like 'wtf!?! a little help here!?!' then goes again. so damn funny. definetly the best money i've ever spent.
