i didnt read all these messages, but fuck the money. who cares. as long as you can live, eat, get by, then who needs that money?
i think its way more important to do something that you love, rather than doing something for a finiancial gain.

job satisfaction is FAR more important than Job renumeration.
Obviously it's nice to get paid what you think you are worth...given experience and skillset etc....
It all becomes very relative..
I have had a couple of jobs where I wouldn't have taken double my salary to stay on or come back...dude to philisophical, managerial, and career-direction differences with the upper echelons of management.
