I just turned down a job offer because the CEO is a scumbag and we have a past.
M question to NT is..if you were screwed royally in the past by someone, would you ever work for them again?

nothing is worse than being burned twice by the same person. I wouldnt do it.
Recently my sister made a decision in similar situation. She turned down a job where she could have made a half a mil a year and a 200k signing bonus. her partner would have been her next door neighbor.
BUT
then she found out he aquired his company by sueing his roommate that he played college ball with at notre dame and took everything. thats some bad kharma my sister didnt want to bring on herself and her family so she said no. whats to say he wouldnt do the same to her later for the money?
the money isnt always what's more important. i know quite a few totally miserable upper middle class people pulling 6 figures easy and think of suicide every day of their lives.

I told them to contract me per project as there were about five brands I would manage.
They get my work, and no one gets personal.
