I see Bush trying to pull out some shitty "gotcha" lines that are shallow and illogical. That's my prediction.

What you may not know is that Bush is known as a strong debater. Thats half the reason he's president right now. I doubt Kerry has the know how that Bush does anyway.

It isn't really a debate since they are not allowed to directly engage eachother. They will be responding to pre-determined questions with a time limit.

Yeah but that's how real debates work. They're not exactly slapping each other with white satin gloves, but usually time is allowed after the initial question is addressed to rebut any points the opponent made.

from what i hear, the bush team is trying for little gimmics, like a light that will go off if you speak longer than your time-alotment...thus making kerry look longwinded if he speaks to long...
also, bush's team demanded that their podiums be 10ft apart, thus being more difficult to show the vast difference in stature between them (kerry clcking in around 6ft4 and bush, something like, i dunno, 5, 10 or something..there's a list online of all the different dirty tricks and things they're planning..

Debates are always interesting and as unintelligent as Bush sounds, he doesn't do that bad in debates. I got my money on Ralph, at least I hope he's invited. Small guys should have a say too. I guess it's all about how sincere you sound, not how intelligent. It will be interesting to see how Kerry shapes up more than anything. He's the one on the spot.
