a) its a t-shirt, not for everyone, but its not a hate crime as they are trying to argue
b) the tv segment on ctv focused on the store in st. catherines selling the shirt, not the company making it

its a fuckin stupid shirt no doubt, but come on... no one is compalining about the shirt with the bolddy scissor that has the caption "He had it coming."

yeah... and i think the most screwed up part is,
they have a news story about this shirt that they say is just terrible, bad for society, and what do they do, they show it, focus on it, make sure everyone sees it... the news is nuts, it seems like they're trying to create public outrage about something that the majority of the public wouldn't know about or be concerned with to begin with.

It's a dumb shirt, obviously in poor taste, but I don't think it's really worth pursuing hate crime charges.
As far as the lock story goes, wouldn't you rather know the lock you're using is shit than doddle on in ignorance?
