which one would you go with to display your work?
i have like 25 more of those editorial type magaziny things to put either all over the screen (TYPE1.jpg) or horizontally (TYPE2.jpg)
i think i need new ideas... just looking for a simple way to display these booklet things

type 1 for sure (with more space). you could maybe place them like type 1 for 2 full windows (i guess it would depend on screen res.) then put a javascript jump link to jump the page 800 or 1024 or whatever. that would look and feel real nice and professional :)

Do you have any flash skills?
If so, you could do something maybe like the dock in osx magnifiies? sort of an enlargement appears as your mouse travels across the thumbs - just a though.

i think there has to be a way to make them bigger, maybe when you mouse over one it would enlarge a bit...

Pick a largish size for the spreads and output them as a horizontal layout then let the user side scroll to see the images.
Simple, easy, effective.

I like the horizontal scroll solution myself. I can't help feeling that type1 is a little busy.
Nowt wrong woth sideways scrolling. I used it myself...

i like the idea of making them large and sidescrolling...but i think one better might be to have them large and make a slideshow out of them so the user doesn't have to scroll at all...put some pause / play / prev / next buttons on it for more user control...
