The Vancouver 2010 logo contest ends tomorrow, who entered? anyone care to show their entries?

i did.
i submitted a design that was pretty much an outline representation of a man pointing to his crotch and the slogan was 'i got 'chor olympics right hear.'

work your ass off for no pay for the slight chance that you may get chosen... no thanks.
i think this was handled completely worng, an RFP/RFQ to do the work, yes... a contest is just wrong in my opinion.
but anyway, good luck to those who entered, would be cool to see an NT'er take it home... i think i remember nick saying his team was putting something together for this.

I don't see anything wrong with: 'work your ass off for no pay for the slight chance that you might get chosen'
The good will if everybody see your logotype during the olympics is priceless.
And it's no difference from pitching for a client (for free) it's a competition too. That's just the way this industry works.
I know Greg have done a HOT logotype and animation. Hopefully he will win it all.

I don't see anything wrong of it at all... its up to the person to decide to sign up and how many hrs they want to work on it. It also give "no name" designers a fair chance to show off their skills against big design firms. Going to school does not mean you for sure get a job... but hey you paid and spend years on it.
