not quite understanding how it feel forced? thought it was a good flow.
i know it may seem "childish" ... life is already complicated enough, i really wanted to take a simple but "oh, that's kinda neat" approach ... this is only a mock-up, as i will most likely have the type set in Minion like on my site, and the marks in a red marker.
thanks for the feedback so far, i'm really thinking about doing it, but i'd love to hear more about how you, fellow design dorks think about this concept.

I like the background and the post-it better than the play-around .. so your name is denis and you want to be on a direct relation to design..
man the word design can be lots of things besides graphic design
just my opinion.

that's the thing, design is much more than "graphic design" ... and that's what i'm about. much more than print, new media ... i'm talking about industrial, furniture, installation ... even fashion. it's all about concept and idea. that's what i want people to get. ... and i wanted to convey that using my first name, which is pretty close to the word design.
i don't know, i'm trying a few things, but i'd really like to play with this some more ... the scan is just meant to show my scribble i did at work, it's actually going to be set in Minion. ... i just did that real quick to show you guys.

I'm kinda afraid it might be too much ... you know? ... might take a bit long for people to get it. and that's "bad" design ... because THIS is meant to convey something specific.

I had to work to understand it, everything is spoonfeed to me nowadays so it was ok, but i wouldnt use it as a logo
