Try to leave images at their original sizes. Not smaller, not bigger, just keep their original size.

Just had this happen to me, first time ever, maybe something with 2004 - seriously weird issue. I fixed by adding to the root:
_quality = "BEST";

Not yet, I'm at home and I dont have the file with me. But I'll try it on Monday, when i'm back at work.
Thanks.

did you tried the code i posted?!

I havn't optimized things yet so it's just flashes default settings.
The thing I dont get is why it looks fine (perfect) when it's the only movie clip on the sage, yet when others are added it looks like crap (the .png files that is).

yeah and at what quality are you exporting out?

try putting this code in the first from of your movie
setProperty ("", _highquality, "2");

did you try .bmp's? One reason is that Flash, by nature, doesn't handle bitmaps that well.

Okay I have a movie clip with a bunch of other movie clips in it containing png images. It is placed on the main time line (_root).
The problem is whenever I add anything else to the main time line all the png images in the movie clip go all crappy looking / jaggedy etc.
When it's the only movie clip on the main timeline everything looks fine.
Any reason why it's looking like a turd? (I'm at home so I cant really show you what it looks like right now)
