How much are you guys earning per year for which position?
I need to know as everytime I go for an interview, there's always someone who asks "how much is your expected salary for this post ?" and quite frankly I ain't gotta clue!

That AIGA salary guide is a bunch of crap so we can all justify unrealistic salary requests. My boss would laugh if I showed him that!
In the southeast U.S. where I live, around 30k per year is average, plus benefits. It is less if you have to take crap work from a printer. Better if you're in-house. But 30K to do print and maybe maintain a web site or run of the mill graphic designer for ad agency. It goes up from there, especially with Flash or databasse or programming skills.

well, huh, i'm glad i came to the ole NT wailing wall this savvo. until the 4 of june this year i was raking in just over 82,227.05 EUR, maybe a few of you here know that that was roughly, £56k. you yankees can work that out surely, . and that was what i declared! daft eh? now well, i get quite a respectable £15k!! daft eh?

The UK is Old Europe - toe dipping in Cold water.
The Euro is poo, all the prices doubled when the introduced it here in Italy.
BTW Its not even worth telling you what an average salary is here in Italy...

also depends on the company... you can get paid alot from a stupid corporate company...
my friend was making $80 000 a year doing flash, photoshop, director for all the old faggot clients, dvd auth., mpeg work too... worked 9-5... but worked hard...
but the projects weren't amazing stuff...
i guess its a toss up

60k before taxes as a senior designer/art director/project manager/all 'round office bitch here in Toronto. But I'm way underpaid for what I do...
taking it in the arse from clients everyday and misc. inter-office handjobs should get me at least 70k
