i cant find any info on him, but theres an artist that makes pinhole cams out of fruit, shoes, even trees i think. his photos of the "cameras" are pictures shot into a mirror from the camera itself of the camera, then framed and hung on display.
? forgot who..

For you kids in London cross processing slide, i recommend checking out snappy snaps in Covert Garden. I used to get all mine developed there all the time and they really know what they're doing. Always top results. Yet to find someone here as good.

i got a lomo holga camera recently and i love it, i've started experementing with it by putting 35 mm film in there instead of 120 which results in the perforation being exposed effect, check it out:

(the brighter pictures where taken with the holga)

as far as i know is holga not a lomo. holga is made in china while lomo is made in russia. the only lomo available now is the lc-a.
- clint0
yeah you're right, it's been first released in hong kong 1982 apparently.
but now it's been picked up by the lomography people in austria as well, it says 'holga by lomography' on the package.

I bought the super sampler a while back to see what lomo's about but half way through the first roll of film, the blasted thing broke and stripped all the guide holes on the film. now string wont rewind.
Anyone have similiar problem?
- superbaka0
pretty much the same thing happened to my super sampler. its a total piece of crap. lasted one roll before i had to toss it.

blows
will send it back and see if they replace. would be nice

lomography & lomo aren't the same thing. lomo is a russian camera manufacturer who almost went bankrupt until some austrian camera freaks decided to sell the lomo's online and saving the camera that way. hence calling themselves lomographers (fans of lomo). later they decided to sell other cameras like the sampler and the holga as well. all these cameras aren't lomos. somehow people mix that up. that lomography = lomo. they're not using the same lense, lightmeter etc. holga is still made in china etc. if lomography would sell nikon it wouldn't be a lomo nikon now would it?

here are some photos a friend of mine took with one of these funny ruskie cameras:

i don't know what you're on about rabattski, my holga is a lomography camera, basta.
; )

personally, im really against lomography's whole, "dont think, just shoot!" attitude. if you look at most pics on their site, thats exactly what it looks like - and not in a good way.
its like saying, "dont think, just design!" . its an anti-concept.

Is it crisp?
A small project I did at CBC Radio 3 featuring the images of 6 photographers, including Arnaud Mercier of Elixistudio fame.

can anybody elaborate on cross processing? What is it? Can it only be done with slide film? Thanks!
