hey all I'm saying is the neocons don't like anybody who isn't blindly following the jingoistic rhetoric. this sh*t is well crafted and way beyond any of our understanding. The fear caused by 9/11 was just what W needed to start a long term war without end and guess who profits from it... carlyle, halliburton, all the hawks. I don't really want to get into it either but you need to see all the angles to really understand the depth og the current situation, did you know that prescot bush was charge with treason after world war II for supplying hitler with steel and other raw materials. This is a war profiteering administration, nothing else.

I am assuming you are directing that at me? Just because I don't agree with that one statement you assume I don't know "all the angles" or don't know what I am talking about? I fully understand the seriousness and depth of our current situation. However, I don't agree with the context you were applying that quote or the statement made that protest are percieved as terrorist.
Plus, I think both sides are agressively pursuing there goals.
I am not defending the war or Bush. But that doesn't mean I am going to be quiet when i think a statement is made that I don't agree with fully.
Just voicing my opinion about your statement and the context you were using it.

yep. on a separate but related gripe i'm getting heartily irritated with faux-default-liberals equating US "republican" with UK "conservative". a cursory scan of the Spanish Civil war would reveal the errors of that. And while our elected theoretically Leftist PM cosies up to Burlesconi- it becomes all the more clearer how erroneous equating international systems of governance is.
