We are planning to do India next year. Hopefully visit my in-laws family farm, my wife has never been so it should be really cool.

thanks for all the positive comments everyone. i stopped using my SLR for ages cos i thought it was too imposing but really enjoyed using it again for this trip... was an amazing experience - everyone go book yourselves a trip somewhere!

the graffiti is a political sign for one of the local candidate and its bascially askign people to vote for him :) grand eh?and the hand sign is the symbol of the Congress party, which is currently in power.
and vegetarian food in india is awesome beats a fucking salad and boca burger with tempeh shit any day.
i'm so jealous i havent been back in like 2.5 yrs.
in the next couple of yrs i am goan go back and travel around india...mostly by train,
starting from Bombay going southand makign my way to calcutta.

aw yea i had all these big plans to either fly to goa or get a train to kolkata or just catch a taxi to agra but after 10 days in a coach i just wanted to chill when we got back to delhi. i definitely want to check out the punjab and then catch a train down south for some masala dosas next time!

get your arse down to Euston (Drummond Street) for the best masala dosas you will get in London. Very tasty and pretty traditional too...
Still not as good as the ones I had in Malaysia. Gawd am I looking forward to India next year now!!!

mmm dosas in malaysia! makan sedap-sedap! did you have those tissu dosas that look like a funny pointy hat and are kind of sweet? tissu dosa with teh tarik mmm
indian food in london sucks by and large too. but there's a place in wembley called Karahi King that is ace. it's packed every night, fairly cheap and dammit their lamb chops alone are worth the half hour drive.
