kerry was okay on the daily show. i still think he could take some lessons from clinton--the master of slickness

Surely, former ones are, many friends of mine, this time out will be doing just that. But they aren't really hard core Republicans anyway. More like socially Democratic and fiscally Republican.

you know Nader is not going to win right? and which is the much much much much lesser of the 2 evils? Kerry. So please vote for Kerry. thank you

I think that most people who are gung-ho on Nader haven't seen him speak recently.
I'm a big fan of his, but every time I've seen him recently he is a loud-mouthed, defensive, book-shilling boob.
I think Kucinich was a better choice for the more progressive voter... But Nader is becoming a joke.

Your friends are very confused.

Small steps before you take big ones.
Where is k0na, he can stick on my side? I have nothing against the Dems in general and was one and might go back to being one, but not for Kerry.
He's no Clinton, tht's for sure. Word on the street is that Bubba don't even like him. He sure didn't help his VP Gore last time around.

what i don't get is how so many women voters are going for bush. he's not exactly the candidate of womens rights....reproductive or other. any ladies care to fill me in?

bring back clinton!
y'all should be like in teh UK - a PM can stay in power as long as the people want him there! None of this 2 term only BS!

I heard the same thing F_18. That helps him because like it or not, conservative types and women actually USE their vote.
That's the biggest problem I see for Kerry. People might support him but do they take the time to go and vote?
- F_180
I think this time they will. I have a $50 bet with my friend that this will be the biggest election in our nations history by sheer volume of votes cast.

it should be interesting to see voter turnout this year...
also, I think women who vote for bush would pretty much do anything that their husbands told them to do.
- jevad0
it will be so, so close - nail biting, edge of your seat close.

True, and more power to our Union. I don't care if Bush does win at least your voice should be heard. He can't run the US forever, even if it is for 4 more sad-ass years. Yeah, it'll be very close I think, so close, IMO, that so much spin-doctor media-lies BS will fly from both sides, that there will be a need to have a governing body that deals out the same exact voting machines to everyone under the same system, etc, etc. Too much crap is gonna' fly.

funny thing that people are pining for clinton. He was in dublin again the other day promoting his book and general visiting. Thousands of people queued to get their book signed by the guy. He then went walkabout on the streets with tons of people high 5'ing him and shaking his hands and generally liking the guy.
makes a change when bush visited a few months and the govt. had to mount the largest security operation in the history of the state and tens of thousands of people protested at the very notion of that cocksucker being on our soil. seemingly the land of the thousand welcomes only extends to those who deserve it. Daft eh!

goes to show you what a sad state of affairs we are in.
