Anyone see John Kerry on The Daily Show? Thoughts, comments, slander, bias, hateful remarks, democrats, republicans, independents, liberals and conservatives....all welcome.

thought he was good. looked too scripted, but still good. he keeps saying "i have plans..." but i want to hear them.
can't wait for the debates.

the debates are gonna win it for kerry IMHO...bush can hardly string a coherent sentance together without pausing, umming, or ahhhing....
- monkeyshine0
nic, problem is that Bush could barely string together a coherent sentence in in the Gore debate and the media lavished praise on him and said he won.
It's like he lowers the bar so much that if he can complete a full sentence everyone gets distracted by the awe of it.

I thought Kerry looked good. Saying the right things and he HAS A SENSE OF HUMOUR. I can trust someone with a good sense of humour.

I was curious to see this. I agree, he looked good and personable.

i thought he was pretty good- for Kerry that is
weird thing is I think Bush won the debates btw him and Gore...how the hell

Stewart was pretty reserved, as far as the conversation went, but it was still a good thing to see. It's a touchy situation, because if Stewart were to hit with "hard" questions, he risks that being the last time he has a candidate accept the invitation to be on his show. Nothing in the segment really had any bearing on my vote, though. It was more a move for what advertisers call "awareness"... Daily Show viewers have potentially increased awareness of Kerry, without any additional information about what he stands for, or intends to do with our country. (he's still no Dubya, which is a good thing.)

ignore my statement about bush winning the debates, i haven't found anything to back that up

I saw that yesterday whilst eating dinner.
The more I hear him and the more I hear....the more I'm leaning towards voting for him. First it was the overtime thing from earlier this week, now it's the thing about the GOP profiling everyone to make sure they're really for the party and not there to make a ruckus against Bush.
Are there really any republicans that would go to a democrat rally and protest....I mean, aside from the KKK?
Seriously.
- monkeyshine0
Tara, you did? Wow. I think you're the first person I've talked with who felt that way.
I clearly remember watching it with a room full of friends and we all were thinking that Gore gored him and made him look like an ass and then the comentators were saying the exact opposite. Everyone in the room yelled WTF?!
- monkeyshine0
xao, there were non-kkk protestors at the DNC.
- Tara0

rock on...its good to hear that other people thought it was a decent appearance. the media shoves so much crap down our throats everyday...flip-flopper, waffler, no wound purple hearts....its comforting to know theres still some people that can make up thier own minds.
cheers.

yeah I made up my mind, I'm not voting for him or GDub. tee hee ;)
