i was body boarding a couple weeks ago and saw a tiger shark about 2 feet in front of me. it turns out there is a whole school of them (30 or so) by the spot i go to in venice. they are quite common i guess over here by the jetty and piers. i was still scared out of my mind. tiger sharks are like water pit bulls.

yeah i haven't gone back into the water since. everyone says "oh don't worry, they are so small, they don't attack people", but "small", i mean "small" compared to a great white sure, these things are still like 4 feet – i am not down with it. i think i will take a bath instead.

Its all the other shit like box jellyfish and blue ringed octipus's as well as fucking everything else they have here in Australia that scares the fuck out of me.
On my local beach they have shark nets, and signs saying blue ringed octipus's are found here.
