It used to be so good here, everyone used to be really motivated and interested, there were superiors who actually knew what they were talking about and were approachable.....
so much has changed in the past 2 years that it is no longer recognisable.

I'm the only designer here. I work with a bunch of prepress guys. They all have that blank beaten down look, like they been setting type too long.... the bosses are a bunch of bling cheese balls.

even if we skip the management and just look at creatives, most of them are twats, superficial narcissists with closed viewpoints, often illiterate, often lacking global attitudes (other than boasting about their sheltered holidays in Mauritius and the time they back packed in their gap year - all paid for by mummy).
Seriously, take a look at yourself - are you one of those types? Did something ring true? When was the last time you read a *real* book, when did you last try to feel something real instead of trying to be an urban styler?
If you are one, change now, before you piss someone off.

Max_prophet is the new Steak and liquor. Tough love for the masses, good points though. I've met tons of designers that fall into those categories.

Damn you have had a good streak there. I work with boring people who believe that 'industry parties are the most important thing ever' instead of going for a wee cheeky booze or two they go to 'show the companys face' and get pissed off if I go and get a bit pissed up and have a laugh.
