So what does everyone think? anyone going to try it out...

I subscribe to RES magazine. On the DVD they sent out there is an overview of Motion. I was excited when I first heard about it, Im a big fan of FCP. But Motion looks weak, maybe Im wrong but it looks like its a bunch of presets for people who don't want to learn after effects. If motion gets big, we are going to get pretty sick of the same line reveal appears in half the presets.
I hope Im wrong, the real time rendering does look sweet. Maybe they are just trying to sell it to everyone so they focused on the presets, we'll see.

So is this mainly for broadcast application? Because tools like After Effects, Flame or Combustion seem to have a lot more power.

I saw a demo at the post NAB Roadshow and it looked great for what I do. I just love the real time rendering and effects. That alone is reason enough from me to drop After Effects. Plus at $299 I can't really complain.
