How can you say you like C4D?Lightwave is so much better.
Question: Can C4D do HDRI lighting? I didn't think so.

The HDRI rendering option in C4D IS present and more then excellent!
ps.: i find the usability much better in C4D then in Lightwave, but that's just personal preference..

You poor misguided C4D users.
I'm happy to hear your software finally caught up with LW on on HDRI lighting, if you'll notice, the debevco link was created in LW.
Now if C4D could just get caught up with soft body dynamics, high end rendering, particle generation and reverse kinematics, it might be able to be spoken in the same sentence as Lightwave. Until then...

i couldn't care less tho..
i choose C4D cuz it's easy to use... i almost only render with cell-shading or cartoon-like.. and C4D does the job more then excellent.

whatever the planet. i don't even think you've EVER opened c4d or else you would KNOW what a superior choice it is as a 3d program. i can't even believe it.

j_red, more like j_wrong! your arguement is not unlike my dump this morning: loose and full of inconsistencies.
everyone knows strata studio pro was the greatest 3d app ever. its multi-faceted lathing functions leave its inferior counterparts in the proverbial dust. slam!
