all remember the fun of loading CD's into Windows....

wait...still confused with this whole fact of loading a dvd onto your mac. so the dvd is actually a game? why would your mac read your dvd as a game?

lvl_13, yes, you have to install any DVD you play on a Mac and once it is installed you need to get into the root with Resorcerer and adjust some codes to make it actually work, also you have to boot Terminal to hack into some code to actually make it start (security issues) and get Amadeus and some other app to extract and edit the audio track and paste it back in.. then finally you make an img-file of it all and open it up in Win Media Player or RealPlayer for Mac OS-X.. then it might work and you can watch the actual DVD!
sometimes you get the code wrong and the MAc recognizes it as a game and it auto-starts Solitaire..
but that could happen on any 'puter..

ahhh...wow that sounds like a really hard process. phew, glad i dont have to go through all of that. my girlfriend would never have the patience to ever sit down and watch a dvd with me.

and if you believe that....then i'm sorry.
some games are just huge so it won't fit on a CD. the new Lord of the Rings game is like that. just too much info to ship on a CD so they put it too DVD. simple as that.
