what do you think of the new iPods?
i really dont like em - dont like the grey wheel and.. well.. just dont like em!does anybody know when the colorscreens are coming?

i like the 4G's, though it is the first one ive had.
it's sleak, stark, white, metal, modern, and beautiful. also, it is aesthetically pleasing.

one thing about the new wheel is that is has some kind of tactile sense.
i have a 3g and i can never tell if i hit the button or not.ps. I wish the screen took less power, not more (ie. colour)
no sense wasting tons of juice so that i can see"AC/DC - Hells' Bells" in hot pink.TR1

i don't see how color screens could be that more draining on the already dissapointing iPod battery.
my sony t610 lasts for 2-3 days without charging it... I use it all the damn time.

I think they should have OLED colour screens... my mobile has one why not my mp3 player... oyeah and OLED means no back light = more music time

i still prefer my O.G. 5gb... best iPod design out of all the revisions... only thing that kicks ass on the new ones is the physical size and weight.

i like the 4G because it feels more like my 1G, plus i like the new firmware with the audiobooks and such.
color should only be on the outside of the mini's.

I'm selling my 3G to a friend and getting the 4G next week because I commute more than driving.
3G is perfect for car because the touch-sensitive buttons and no need to hold the back of the iPod to press anyhting.
4G would be better for portable audio as it's better at 1 handed operation while holding it.
I'm updating also because I've already go my money back many folds through everyday (10-12 Hours) usage in 9 months and I'd like a better battery (for those party times), and I got a good price for the 3G which allows me to spend almost nothing to get a 4G (due to price drop), so it's a no brainer for me.
