A guy e-mailed me saying he wants a logo for a Therapy Clinic... "Specialising in the rapid elimination of fears, anxiety and addictions."
Here's the thing, I've never done a real logo for someone before (my work is pretty much all from school). So how much should I charge? How does the whole money thing work (he lives in the UK).
Any info is appreciated. I'm brand new & lost, thanks.

A hundred... if you havent done it before... Then as you build up a portfolio of work charge what you think you can get away with

I disagree. If he came to you because he thinks you are cheap, then you have to be, but if he doesn't know and hasn't prefaced the inquiry with a 'but we only have a little cash', then go for more.
At least a few hundred, depending on how fast you can do it.
Keep in mind, though, that I don't do much logo design.

when you do a logo youre basically creating an identity for someones company...i make music but i dabble in design and i have done logos...the first one i ever did i charged the $700 but the second one i did i got $50 and the thrid one i did I got 350bucks....you just have to negotiate with someone to see what you can get.......and NEVER be afraid to ask for want you want or what you think you are worth

I agree - it totally depends on the client. Some people want an entire identity packagecomplete with a style guide tha tillustrates how to use the logo on different media, color/font breakdowns, etc. and they expect to pay $500 - $1000. On the other hand, there are small businesses that you won't be able to sell tham a $1000 package no matter what you say.
Ask them for a document or email with some company background - what they want a logo for, who will see it, where, who is the target audience, etc. From there, evaluate what they're expecting and quote accordingly.
ie. If they give you a 3 sentence response, they're expecting a 3 hour logo design (not a 3 day one).
