I always hated that you couldn't do Command - H to hide Adobe Illustrator in OSX. I just remembered that you can add keyboard shortcuts (Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts > Menu commands > File > Hide Illustrator). The only thing I wish I could do is use Command - Control - H like Photoshop and After Effects.
I used Command - shift - option H.
