I'm sure just being pulled over taught you your lesson, but I heard that it's nearly $500 here in Indiana. However I don't know anyone who have had this ticket.

i hate it when someone throws one out that sparks everywhere and there i am following 'em with my windows rolled down.....yikes!!

i can imagine you were on your way to or from the valley near the 405 or on PCH?
theyre terrible over there and that happens often. never to me though. because when im in that area i just put it out in a cup or an old soda can or something.
They do it because they dont really keep up the brush in those areas. though it is unlikely you would be the cause, a lot of those small hillside fires you see every year are started by cigarette butts (so they say).
i saw one right along the freeway just last year somewhere north of the ghetty museum.

i got caught a few yrs ago on the 5 fwy in LA....the damage was around $300. I wasnt anywhere near brush areas, but during that time, so cal was half covered with brush fires. Yeah im an asshole and I deserved it, but I haven't done it since. I even quit smokin this year!

When I was around 5 or so I was in a friends parents car and they threw out a whole bag of take out. Shit was sort of funny at the time... just not the way my family was. I was tripping on the fact that the window was a garbage. The late 70's were pretty crazy with that shit. TV commercials about littering where always on. Dont see them that much anymore.

I try to hit old ladies with my cigarette butts. I figure its kind of like basketball, who ever touches it last before it hits the ground is shit out of luck.
