Anyone know how to switch user accounts in firefox ?

warheros....where in tools iv looked and havn't seen anything about accounts....yes there are accounts so that way u don't need to have bookmarks taht belong to others in the family.

It's actually in Start>Mozila firefox>profile manager.

ah! there it is.
it pops up sometimes when firefox likes to just open in the background. you try to open another instance of it and it prompts the user thingy. yeah.

You can launch user specific versions of Firefox on Windows by changing the shortcut path to:
"C:\Program Files\Firefox\firefox.exe" -p warherosOr something similar to that. At least using the -p switch will launch with the profile manager. Then each user can have their own icon with no need to manually swtich. You may need to put quotes around the name, I don't recall. Hope that helps.

that is nice to know! thanks, welded. though, i dont have firefox installed on the powerbook yet. cant get it to install.
maybe ill try later.
safari is working fine so far. but i do miss firefox.
