not to hijack a thread so early, but in terms of tatoo placement, which parts of the body are less prone to stretching as you get older and turn into a raisin or pig out?
i figure the shoulder is safest...anything else?

i live in SD but $200 could get you a decent size tat on your arm. color is another story but if you just want black, you could get some sick work done.
take your time and check out some places. the good ones usually are by appointment only anyways.

$200 isn't really that much. I can't say for sure, but you probably wont get that full-face tattoo for that.

i'm thinking tattoos are dirt cheap, all the unemployed goth kids have practically full on body tattoos+piercings in Frisco, 200 bills should get you the main vault of the sistine chapel on top of your ass...

I got one of my tattoos there and i can tell you it was an unforgettable experience, the tattooer is a chick and she is great. Not very cheap but i can tell you its something you will have forever and i think you should put it in hands of someone that knows what is doing.

Get arrested for public drunkeness. Cops will throw you in the drunk tank for at least 4 hours. While you're in there get yourself a good ol' free jail house tatoo done with an ink pen and a needle. After 4 hours you'll pay $100-200 bucks to get out - with your brand spankin new tatoo - And A New Friend! Go For It! (post the results to NT of course).
