agreed if its a soft launch and you don't have much content embrace it. Put the addy and all contact info into the page and get some work up there for gods sake!
Keep it nice and simple, you'll do fine!

ok thanks for the crit, were currently purchasing a camera to take some photos of our work so we can get some work up and show it off at its best.
cheers,

Geez, I love your rollovers, they seem so familiar.
....refresh, find, broadcast.

like you and we aint seen that style of rollover a hundred times already anyway. i could name you a good few sites that use that style.
its a holding page not permemant, just something quick simple to get up for now while we work on the proper site, which hopefully will be "fresh" and "new"

very straightforward, i like it. straight to the point.
i like the dry approach. but it's too fast... it's a micro-web-site...
maybe some elements to rest the eye... portfolio, white spaces, animation, dunno...
you simply tell everything too soon. which is good, in comparison with some other sites, but anyway, too fast too soon...

I'm not saying I dont like it Innovate, I'm just pointing out where you perhaps got some inspiration from.
Yes, I indeed lifted my initial navigation scheme from another site, unfornately I can't recall which one anymore. Anyway, I like the simple approach and I am eager to see it again once your portfolio has been implemented.

cheers dab :) portfolio wil come soon, just waiting for our camera to come to get some photos,

I was talking about the body copy text. It is too bold for the size. Looks chunky and weird. I would use the same nav style, and make the body text less heavy.
It looks a little ametuer as far as the typography because of it.
Not dissing just saying it could be better.

ok soler, cheers the feedback is appreciated. what font do you think would look better?
- Soler0
I would use that same font, just a lighter version. If that is Black then use bold.. If its bold use medium or regular....
- Innovate0
ok thanks ill try it and see how it looks

I like your palette. Simplicity is a wonderful thing. I think the text looks good with the leading tight, but people WILL NOT bother to read it, they won't. People are lazy. If its important information it shouldn't be hard to read. If you are doing it for effect, then go for it.

there seems to be a lot of websites coming out now with the same look and feel as yours: big, bold text and not much else.

wow it took three years of NT before someone registered the user name "innovate"
