i've lived in cali for 24 years and have only felt a handful of earthquakes. the biggest being a 5.0 or something like that. it's not a big deal. definitely not something you really think about. the 5.0 shifted my building i work at and that's about it. kinda fun actually. (as long as no one gets hurt of course)

Soler,
when are you planning on coming to LA?
what area are you going to be livin in?
BTW- better take a couple big gulps of fresh air while you are in CO, cuz you wont be getting any here.
also- official invite for drinks once you get here.

earthquakes in cali are no biggie, you just gotta watch out for stuff falling on you, i'd rather be in a quake than a tornado or hurricane, and btw, scientists have been saying that oregon & washington are due for a major quake, the funny thing is most of the buildings in the NW are brick!, the northwest has a very low threshold for earthquake damage, anyone remember that quake in seattle a few years back, that made more damage than anything in LA in years. bottom line, no one is safe from nature - anywhere - i at least feel somewhat safe knowing that cali is prepared and has laws regarding building and bridge earthquake construction safety.
i just felt a little rumble. jumping under my desk. ttyl!

Thanx HeavyT. I'm rolling out the beginning of August. I'm down for an NT drinkoff for sure.
Area I'm living depends on work..... still up in the air right now.
