omg rabattski!!! that might be it!!! serously that would look so cool to have a paint by numbers tattoo without the paint, and have all the numbers on there....

anyways, just a thought, would you rather be bummed out when you're old and you didn't get a tattoo and you're too old to even get one or be bummed out about the fact that you're old and have tattoos?
you know. if you're old you don't look like you're teens anyways, you look just old. it's not that you're going to show yourself off all the time.

i've seen weird stuff though. dotted circle outline with the text "insert tattoo here" in the middle. seen lot's of typographic correct ones. the text "Helvetica" in helvetica. it's funny. but does the joke last a lifetime? that's hard to tell. it depends on who you are and what you want. and the first one is hard anyways, after that it gets easier and easier. it's just more about choosing certain artists and their work and let them do their thing, draw it and slap it on. my opinion though is that oldskool is oldskool and always will be oldskool. you can't go wrong with the classics. still personal taste.

i mean, if you always wanted one, the next step is to think out what it should be, then set a date to have it inked..
you mixed up the last two steps...
take your time to think about one.. look beyond NT, please!!

i understand what you're saying, i guess i just wanted to post my thoughts here for shits and giggles, and maybe i would get some ideas you know? i truely am digging the whole paint by numbers thing right now... so maybe it was worth it?

very very valid.
and i'm still gonna give a couple of tips.
first one is always hard. just don't get off the wall flash, custom work only and most important: pick the right artist (skip the artists that just do tattoos only. the good ones paint, draw etc. you want to talk to those guys). it has to click with the artist as well. best is to just have an idea / theme and let the artist work it out (pick the artist on his/hers style you like). they don't charge for sketches and you can always say no. that's all there's to it.
blaw: not really into taking pics of myself. don't have anything recent. closest i can get is on my site filed under freework, non omnis moriar (#7 if i'm not mistaken). pics were taken by the artist. quite old pics.

another option is to shave and chisel a few dotted areas with digits inside (Bookman Old Style to keep rabbatski's classicism). I'm sure there are some finest examples in anatomy books but my google is not so cooperative right now.

wow so im just finally getting to post for the day, yes k0na is exaclty right girls with lower back tattoos might as well just get a target on there cause...well ya know what im hinting towards. Ive been wanting a tattoo for a while bu probably wont get anyting unless something truely meaningful comes out of my life. PVN is not that. But i like the walken idea. possibly on my ass cheek????
