Just do as much research about hypnosis as you can and find out what are the positive aspects of it. The idea of clouds isn't bad, or what about the concept of clarity because your mind is totally blank when hypnotized?
Icons are always fun but there's nothing wrong with just a simple typeface logo, maybe with one of the letters slightly modified.

thanks for the thoughts guys, and for those of you that have realized my lack of imagination, and my leech like approach on finding inspiration... DAMN! There goes my budding design career down the drain, i'm gonna go weep now, perhaps watch some reality tv to up my spirits...
