"It's reversible, you just overwrite it with canon's official firmware. It only could be a problem if you cannot start the camera up at all and are unable to restore the firmware before returning the camera."
Yeah, I know. But personally I dont have the time for that kind of hastle.
I rather buy a camera that has the features I want and doesnt need to be hacked.
Then again the hack does not give the Rebel better build. I have been lucky enough to test both cameras for a couple of days and the Rebel feels like a toy compared to the Nikon.
