Yeah, somebody broadsided me in my ultrafresh 91 240sx back in November, and i got 1,500 bucks for damages. (I paid 1,500 for the car!!!)
Anyway, I managed to keep that cash in my bank account all the way up until this weekend - I am buying a 2ghz G5, unless iPlaza has some of last years 1.8s left over.
So I guess what I am trying to say is, getting your paws on seem easy scratch is a lot better than paying back a loan.

i'm trying to keep myself from getting a powerbook.
mobile beat making and designing on the go just sounds too bad ass.
plus tiger is looking pretty amazing...

im thinking like a 15" powerbook or a nice G4 with tons of RAM and a student discount.
still thinking about it though. i know i dont want this loan to be a burden on me, but if i dont have to pay for it somehow; way cool!

I got a great G3 off ebay for 90 bucks and its perfectly usable (it had been upgraded with a 30 gig HD and 380 MB RAM. )
until you've got it to spend, go used! credit will nail you in the end, and you DONT need it.

I took out a loan back in '96 to get a Mac Power PC ($3k!).
One of the smartest things I ever did. No regrets.
