Good morning, morning!
Does anybody know what kind of introductory letter should I send with my portfolio application included in a CD Rom?
Any ideas, suggestions or examples?
Thanks in advance!

Keep it simple whatever you write. Nothing worse than a whole raft of waffle that the recipient doesn't even read anyway.
Your CV and/or portfolio should do the talking. If your sending by e-mail, dont even bother with a seperate letter. A quick blurb in the text should surfice.
If by post, then you should put a letter in there stating expectations, where you saw the advert, why you want to work there and your notice period. Dont, I repeat dont take any text from your CV and dump it in the letter (i.e. experience and skills) waste of time.
Hope this helps

should I add that the CD Rom is actually a card-shaped one?
I wish I was from the old school!
I would be better!!!

Chances are no ones going to see it.....we have students sending CD-Roms in all the time, and they always get misplaced.....a website is far easier and more convenient...or a pdf if its just print.
