I've read it and i heard him speak in Chicago. I'm listening to the 20th century one on itunes. He needs to speak out more so more people read his stuff. i think it's awesome.

that's just the point. you hit the nail on the head in the whole m. moore debate: Zinn is an historian. Chomsky is a linguist. all the great thinkers aren't in the movie making business.
academics are paid to think. filmakers are capitalist whore-slaves, just like us. gotta move units.
but if Zinn teamed up with errol morris or someone like that it'd make for a hell of a film...

just saw fog of war over the weekend. That shit blew me away. Macnamara is on point for being that age, i wasn't expecting him to be so candid.
i did think that he was trying to leave behind a kinder impression of himself than was perhaps accurate.
