when he interviewed charlton heston he asked a bunch of questions, and when heston had enough he got up and left, looked back, and walked on.
after the fact moore stayed and asked a question about small children and guns, which he then spliced BEFORE heston walked away...hence making heston look like a prick for walking away from that question.

if you want a fuckin moron to rule the US for some more years just continue. i dont' give a fuck anymore 'cause i am an ant on this planet's future.
if i could chose between bushs gov and moore i would chose moore. not because he is a GOOD MAN, no - just because that bush guy looks more and more like he can not deal with his job. playing golf? taking holidays - c'mon - he's the ruler of the worlds biggest country. why don't you vote for some one who is more competent? a vous mes amis.

pascii - dont go along with this line that "Moore skews facts" or that he "edits and splices his footage to make it look like something completely different" or that he "makes shit up" etc...
most of that is TOTAL BULLSHIT. My word against urs childishness. Typical muck slinging. Smear campaigns.

It's hard to know who to believe these days...I am sure the moore is guilty of twisting facts and stats to shine light on his side of the argument - but to what extent and how wrong it is I cannot comment.
I still think that Moore is a bloody good thing for america - I'm hoping he will open up the eyes and ears of people here who have a hard time not believing everything that is force fed them by the gvt and media - and have a hard time following out of state affairs - let alone world ones.

- i feel the same Jevad

i'm with jevad on this one.
i've seen moore twice, he was a real laugh.
i think first of all, he's a comedian.he's no chomsky really and i don't think he's claiming that role, and he's getting far more attention for a good cause that way.

yes i agree, jevad and everyone...
but a lot of the things thrown at him, to make out that everything he does and says is complete fabrication is founded on bullshit. Like sayin he edited the charlton heston interview. U know? Like how could anyone possibly know that unless u were there during that interview and knew EXACTLY how it went down, or if u were in the editing suite with him... things like that smell like total mud slinging bullshit.
There's OBVIOUSLY a fierce campaign goin on to discredit EVERYTHING moore does, just cos he rubs people up the wrong way. So you have to be careful about what u believe about him, when other people tell u "he lied about this" or "he lied about that". Like why trust those sources and not Moore? That's just politics...

no offense! i know some of his 'facts' aren't facts. but i agree with jevads last post. it's good ppl talk about what he does.

"A master of propaganda knows that if you repeat a lie often enough, people start to believe it."
It worked for Bush...
