why do you torture yourself by remaining here!

Moore is not the "extreme". It only seems that way cos he is the only one with a pair.

noop it would be incredibly easy for me to just say 'then get out' but.... well... i will. i mean you're from atlanta. you work in the u.s. you get paid, have a house and home, probably a car, you eat it's food, go out in it's clubs, walk it's streets, enjoy it's way of life and yet you hate it so damn much you stay?!? if you can do better someplace else then do us a favor and split.

Anyone who refers to a NewsMAX link as a credible news source should be coloring with some nice crayons instead.
mentally-challenged oriented.

Soler, he's not an extreme really, he just refuses to understand how the world works and concentrates on the effects of the really deep rooted problems. Like "Bowling for Columbine", which showed the level to which the gun-culture of this country is ridiculous and fucked up, but he never went into any kind of intelligent reflection on WHY it is the way it is. His movies work on images, not thought.

that NY Press article does make some good points

I am glad the movie's out though, as it will hopefully help us elect Kerry, but then again, im sure it never talks about any of Kerry's shortcomings, which are a plenty.

" In reality, Bush had supported Enron's plan to run pipes under the Caspian Sea and avoid Afghanistan."
Oh yeah, and we should ALL feel better about that, shouldn't we?
Face it. ALL political figures are crooked. Crooked beyond recognition. I'll never complain about the political system, because I'm already well aware that it'll never work properly.

toastie... he repeatedly says in BFC that he doesn't know WHY we have gun violence, etc. He is exploring the aftermath, etc. That was the premise.
I found his interview of Terry Nichols's brother very telling, as well as the kids he interviewed who knew the bombers. And teh Lockheed martin employees. Why does he have to have all the answers?
I'm intelligent enough i can watch his doc. and come to my own conclusions. Intelligently

moore and bush should be forced to battle to the death in strip twister.
two of modern history's best liars gone with one shot!

Moore's so-called-lies don't end up getting thousands of people killed.

"Cannes has been on an anti-American spree since lauding Gus Van Sant's Elephant. Such grandstanding political gestures don't address popular cinema's decline—proof that people no longer recognize quality or care that a documentary be sound and informative. Few connect the ideology of pop culture to real-world political activity."
