anyone else find it extremely annoying that when you try to highlight text with the text tool more often than not it will highlight text on a hidden layer!?
even if i lock every layer in my doc except for the one that i want to change the text in it still will usually select another locked layer. that is so fucking annoying. anyone know if photoshop has fixed this bug?

yeah, I do my text in Illy or ID. PS is horrible w/ text.

did you try unchecking the 'auto select layer'? I'm not sure that helps and I know what you mean - tres annoying.
