How can anyone say its the MAJORITY of football fans that spoil it. Unless you've ever been there in person, your only frame of reference is what is reported in the media.

becuase it's true! why are people being offended by that comment - they way you are acting it's like you are part of the majority!!!
I know a lot of it is the media but in my experience after being out with my friends on a night after a big match there is always some f*cking idiot thats shouting racisit remarks, throwing bloody traffic cones and fighting with someone on the street!! F*cking twats!
It really annoys me! I just wish these poepl would get a life and just enjoy the game have a few drinks and have a banter with their mates. Whats so bloody hard about that!!!

well, i can recall a time when i was in spain, which is basically the same as fuckin' portugal, speak brasilian an' that, anyway, i got into a fucking scrape in some market with some fuckin' gypsies, tried to take my purse and stuff, i fuckin' well battered them tho'! four of them, and i was coked to the gunnells at the time. they must of thought i was a soft touch,i was on a golfing holiday, but just went to a dodgy area in search of cheap fanny. ( i have been told by many gays that i'm a good looking bloke in their eyes even. )so them gypos must've have thought i was bent, i had a polo shirt on, sky blue, man i gave them what for that night. they had earrings and stuff, bin lids,poofs! daft , all!
