yeah, i love bbedit. I work mostly on the PC now, so I miss it. =(
I miss a lot of things about the mac.

you can do that with any text editor or html editor.
- fugged0
not every text editor will do a multiple file search/replace.

lke a bactc convertor style thing?
- mrdobolina0
yeah you're right, Im dumb. Dreamweaver does it, cross platform.
- warheros0
anything like this for PC? forgot to mention that...

TextEdit will do multiple files, but they have to be open. Won't search and recurse through a directory for stuff.
- warheros0
i cant get textedit to change multiple files, just open multiple files.
also, i cant figure out how to just make it save the file as an *.html file again, it always prompts me saying it's going to save it as its special text file, which i dont want to!

Dreamweaver Templates will save your life on big sites
DW has a good site-wide find & replace also
- warheros0
yeah, i am liking the ease of css. cant believe it's taken me this long to finally look into it!
well, as im on dial-up i wont even try to d/l the 90MB 30 day trial version. it'd take like 2 months.
ah-HA! textpad.
- warheros0

I haven't used my PC in quite a while, but this remains my favourite text editor of all time. Don't recall if it has batch find/replace, though, but I'm pretty sure it does.
